We are looking for suitable candidates to lead Marketing function within Strategic Partnerships team at Amazon Fashion to enable customers find, discover, and buy their most loved brands online.

He/she will have experience in brand building and/or new category marketing and an understanding of consumers triggers and barriers to purchase. As a marketing leader, he/she will drive key elements of our marketing (eg. site content, traffic, events, social, PR) and partner with various central teams to create and drive the marketing strategy and plans on and off the marketplace. He/She will create and support programs to ensure flawless execution of high impact marketing campaigns. This would include working with Brands, Vendors, Seller partners and partnering with the Traffic team to develop an integrated marketing approach across channels (Direct, Free Search, Paid Search, Affiliate Marketing, Display Advertising, Online Video and Mobile)/

Own all key traffic drivers for the strategic brands and work as a brand advocate with central traffic teams.

Own creation of marketing programs, and multiple key traffic drivers to acquire new customers.

Conceptualize, design and execute online and offline marketing initiatives to extend awareness of our products on and off Amazon

Develop, test, and execute aggressive multi-channel marketing plans to drive customer acquisition and authority

Conduct in-depth analyses to determine program effectiveness and continuously improve efficiency to maintain optimum RoI.

Understand and use merchandising and customer-facing metrics to guide decision making.

Meet business goals while ensuring a top-notch customer experience

Own projects with considerable scope and/or complexity with significant impact on customer experience and Amazons business.

Job responsibilities

Ongoing responsibilities include:

Customer Analysis: Tracking and analyzing customer needs based on customer behaviors including search, browse and purchasing patterns.

Planning and executing the site merchandising calendar: This includes new product launches, cross-category placements, developing, executing site-wide category events

Stakeholder Management: Work very closely with category teams to understand business requirements, with creative teams for creative assets & with external brand teams.

Traffic Channels: Work on traffic channels like homepage, SEO, SEM, Social Media, App push, E-mail, Associate partners etc. to continuously improve traffic for the category

He/She must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

Experience designing and executing online customer experiences

Strong communication skills

Bias for action and ability to use data to back up feature recommendations

Capability to learn our in-house tools quickly

The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of successful project ownership and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data


Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with alteast 3-5 years of experience in different marketing roles (Preferred but not mandatory)

Prior experience in handling all traffic driving mechanisms (Search, Affliates, Email, SEO) and other marketing channels,

Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize

Desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities

Ability to use hard data and metrics to make and support decisions Demonstrate organizational skills, flexibility and ability to produce results in a fast paced environment

Capability to meet our technical requirements, which include Excel, and the ability to learn XML basics and our in-house tools, quickly

An understanding of and passion for e-commerce
