In this role we are looking for a passionate and talented Software Development Engineer 2 who can deliver results with a team of smart engineers working on innovative and mission critical software and services. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and development of consumer products.

You will be responsible for owning large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and tools. We value highly technical people who are willing to learn new areas, to know their subject matter deeply, and show a desire to develop themselves, their colleagues, and their career.

Key job responsibilities

- Ideate, design, and implement solutions for improving the mobile shopping CX
- Partner with core Retail counterparts to advocate for B2B customers and build custom solutions
- Maintain OEE standards and be on top of ever changing landscape for mobile infrastructure within Amazon
- Usage of design patterns,



re-use and efficient coding best practices to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Partner with global development team(s) for successful software delivery.
- Design and develop end-to-end solutions that enhance software architecture and automate solutions.
- Leverage evolving tech to implement solutions
- Build reliable, high-performance Web Services, APIs, Micro-Services, Micro-Frontends, and SDKs that improve customers' experience
- Learn from others and help grow those in your team to achieve their best
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Mentor SDE 1s and guide them for using best practices- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
