Your Role and Responsibilities
As Senior Cloud Native Architect SnowFlake/DataBricksis expected to be functionally knowledgeable in SnowFlake/DataBricksPlatforms including NoSQL Technology areas and hands-on in either data management or open-source programming. As an Architect in our Data and AI team,you will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.
You willcollaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Pre-Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Must have 2 years experienceworking as a snowflake Data Architect and 4 years in Data warehouse, ETL, BI projectsMust have experience at least one complex implementation of a Snowflake/DataBricksData Warehouse Expertise in Snowflake data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, DataBricks, implementing complex stored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts Expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns Hands-on experience with Snowflakeand DataBricks utilitiesExperience in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake/DataBrickscloud data warehouseDeep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches(star and snowflake, dimensional modelling)Provide resolution to an extensive range of complicated data pipeline related problems, proactively and as issues surfaceExpertise in AWS, Azure or GCP Platform as a Service (PAAS) components is a plusShould be able to develop and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data flow and data models of the data warehouse appropriate for various audiencesProvide direction on adoption of Cloud technologies (Snowflake/DatBrocks) and industry best practices in the field of data warehouse architecture and modelling
