Roles and Responsiblity:Test Engineer (Protection System) will be responsible for testing of Control and Relay panels used for various voltage levels in India and Abroad for different applications. The incumbent will be responsible for different project phases like understanding client requirement , project specific documents , configuration of numerical relays , testing , and customer inspection (FAT) in factory. Support to Project Management / Engineering / Commissioning team for smooth execution of the project.

Requirement:Knowledge & understanding on wiring schematic drawingsUnderstanding of Power System Protection philosophy & applicationsHands-on experience in configuration of Numerical IEDs ( Siemens, ABB, GE, Schneider )Hands-on experience on test kits – OMICRON, DOBLE,



MeggerExperience in integration of Numerical IEDs with Substation Automation System (SAS)Understanding of client requirements / technical specificationsBasic knowledge of Substation Automation & Communication Protocols :SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-103, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104Basic concepts of Digital SubstationCapability to handle Customer FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) independentlyExcellent communication skills (written & verbal)Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPointStrong critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solvingTeam player , agile , resilient , sincereWillingness to learn recent technologies and build knowledge basePreferred: exposure to Cyber Security , Digitalization trendsExperience in collaborating for recent solutions & technologies
