Job Title: Epic BI Consultant (Healthcare Migration – Cerner to Epic)

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead BI and reporting workstreams during Cerner to Epic migration.
- Analyze existing Cerner reports, dashboards, and data structures; map them to Epic equivalents.
- Design, develop, and optimize reports using Epic tools such as:
- Cogito
- Clarity
- Caboodle
- Radar dashboards
- Experience with Snowflake as Data Source
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation between Cerner and Epic systems.
- Develop data migration validation frameworks and audit reports.
- Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, data mappings, and report logic.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and go-live activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

n

- 10+ years of overall experience with significant exposure to healthcare systems.




- Proven experience in Epic BI tools (Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, Radar).
- Prior involvement in at least one full-cycle Cerner to Epic migration (preferred).
- Strong SQL and data warehousing(Snowflake) expertise.
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data domains (clinical, financial, operational).
- Experience working with large hospital systems or healthcare enterprises
- Familiarity with interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR is a plus).
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

n

- Epic Certification(s) in Cogito / Clarity / Caboodle.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an advantage.
