We are looking for a highly experienced Sr. Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise-level databases. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, along with hands-on experience in performance tuning, HA/DR setups, and database migrations.

Key Responsibilities:
n
✔ Install, configure, and maintain database systems
n
✔ Monitor performance and optimize databases for high efficiency
n
✔ Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
n
✔ Ensure high availability (HA) and minimal downtime
n
✔ Manage database security, access control, and encryption
n
✔ Handle database migrations (MSSQL to PostgreSQL/Open-source DBs)
n
✔ Troubleshoot performance issues using tools like SQL Profiler, DMVs
n
✔ Collaborate with developers for schema design and optimization
n
✔ Maintain documentation and ensure compliance standards
n
✔ Handle incidents and provide root cause analysis
n
Required Skills:
n
✔ Strong expertise in MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
n
✔ Experience with database performance tuning & optimization
n
✔ Knowledge of HA/DR solutions and replication
n
✔ Experience in backup and recovery processes
n
✔ Familiarity with AWS RDS / Azure SQL Database
n
✔ Exposure to NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, Cassandra, Kafka (preferred)
n
✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
n
Preferred Certifications:
n
✔ Azure Database Administrator Associate
n
✔ AWS Certified Database – Specialty
