Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech Civil) – Mandatory

Experience

- 8 – 12 years of experience in high-rise building construction projects with strong exposure to formwork planning and execution

Role Overview

The Manager – Formwork Execution (Services Incharge) will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring formwork systems used across project sites. The role involves ensuring efficient deployment, planning, and execution of various formwork systems including Aluminium Formwork, Conventional Formwork, Safety Screen Climbing Systems, and Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS).

The candidate will work closely with project execution teams, tower incharges, and site engineers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely formwork operations across the project.

Key Responsibilities

Formwork Planning & Strategy

- Plan and manage formwork systems for high-rise building construction projects.

- Prepare formwork planning schedules aligned with project construction timelines.

- Ensure optimal utilization and rotation of formwork materials across towers and floors.

Execution Management

- Oversee installation, dismantling, and shifting of formwork systems including:

- Aluminium Formwork

- Conventional Formwork

- Safety Screen Climbing Systems

- Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS)

- Ensure formwork execution meets structural, dimensional, and quality requirements.

Coordination with Site Teams

- Work closely with Tower Incharges, Engineers,



and Supervisors for proper execution of formwork activities.

- Provide technical guidance to site teams regarding formwork systems and methodologies.

- Resolve technical issues related to formwork installation and cycling.

Productivity & Cycle Time Management

- Monitor formwork cycle time for slab and vertical elements.

- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce cycle time in high-rise construction.

- Ensure timely availability of formwork materials and accessories.

Safety & Quality Control

- Ensure safe installation and operation of climbing systems and safety screens.

- Conduct inspections to verify formwork stability, alignment, and structural safety.

- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and best construction practices.

Vendor & Material Management

- Coordinate with formwork vendors and suppliers for technical support and system maintenance.

- Monitor formwork inventory, material condition, and maintenance requirements.

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and reuse of formwork materials.

Technical Support & Training

- Provide training and technical guidance to engineers and supervisors on formwork systems.

- Support project teams in method statements and formwork methodology planning.

Technical Skills Required

- Solid expertise in high-rise formwork systems and construction methodologies

- Hands-on experience with:

- Aluminium Formwork Systems

- Conventional Formwork

- Safety Screen Climbing Systems

- Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS)

- Understanding of formwork cycle planning and productivity optimization

- Knowledge of structural drawings and construction sequencing

- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and construction planning tools

Preferred Skills

- Strong technical troubleshooting ability in formwork systems

- Leadership and coordination skills with multiple site teams

- Strong planning and execution capabilities

- Ability to manage multiple towers or project sites simultaneously
