Job Summary

Autocracy Machinery is seeking a Design Drafter / Design Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in mechanical drafting and design. The role involves preparing detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and assembly drawings for machinery and fabricated components. The candidate will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate documentation and manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities : Design & Drafting

- Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Develop assembly drawings and exploded views for machines and fabricated structures.
- Maintain and update engineering drawings, revisions, and design documentation.
- Prepare and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for assemblies and components.

Engineering Support





- Support the engineering team in design modifications and engineering changes.
- Ensure drawings follow engineering drafting standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Interpret 3D models and convert them into accurate 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Consider manufacturing feasibility and fabrication processes during design.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with Production and Manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Work with Quality team to align drawings with inspection standards and tolerances.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain team for material specifications and BOM accuracy.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical drafting and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of fabricated structures and mechanical components.
- Knowledge of materials and basic manufacturing processes.
- Ability to prepare BOM and maintain design documentation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 3–4 years of experience in mechanical design or drafting

Work Location

Hyderabad, Telangana

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
