Role Description

This is an internship role for an Article Assistant at A N Bobade & Associates Chartered Accountants. The position is on-site, located in Pune Division. The Article Assistant will be responsible for supporting various functions, such as assisting in audits, maintaining accounts, handling compliance-related tasks, preparing tax returns, and conducting financial analysis. Additional duties include performing research on tax laws, assisting with client deliverables, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Qualifications

- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and book-keeping
- Knowledge of taxation, including Direct Tax and GST
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Office, accounting tools, and related software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain professionalism
- Pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) with cleared or partially cleared CPT/IPCC exams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous internship experience in an accounting firm is a plus
