Role Description The Body Shop Manager will oversee the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring efficient workflow, customer satisfaction, and efficient management of repairs.

n

Responsibilities include managing and coordinating workshop activities, maintaining high-quality customer service, and ensuring adherence to company standards and safety regulations. The role involves staff supervision, budgeting, and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Meerut.

Qualifications

n

n
- Proven experience in managing Body Shops and Workshops with a comprehensive understanding of repair processes and operational workflows
n
- Robust focus on Customer Satisfaction and the ability to develop and execute strategies to enhance aftersales services
n
- Excellent Communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
n
- Experience in aftersales management and knowledge of automotive industry standards
n




- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
n
- Proficiency in basic administrative and budgeting tasks
n
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Automotive Management, or related field is an advantage
n
- Knowledge of Toyota vehicles or experience in a Toyota dealership is a plus
n
- Experience with dealership or authorized service centers
n
- Knowledge of modern repair tools and paint systems
n
- Certification in automotive body repair (optional but preferred)
n

nKey Responsibilities:n1. Operations Managementn

- Oversee day-to-day body shop operations, including denting, painting, and collision repairs
n
- Ensure efficient job allocation and workflow management
n
- Monitor repair timelines and ensure on-time delivery of vehicles
n

n2. Team Leadershipn

n
- Supervise, train, and motivate body shop technicians and support staff
n
- Conduct performance evaluations and skill development programs
n
- Maintain discipline and productivity within the team
n

n3. Quality Controln

n
- Ensure all repairs meet company and manufacturer quality standards
n
- Conduct final inspection before vehicle delivery
n
- Minimize rework and warranty claims
n

n4. Customer Satisfactionn

n




- Interact with customers to explain repair processes and timelines
n
- Resolve customer complaints effectively
n
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
n

n5. Insurance & Estimationn

n
- Coordinate with insurance companies for claims processing
n
- Approve repair estimates and ensure cost control
n
- Maintain proper documentation for all jobs
n

n6. Financial Managementn

n
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability of the body shop
n
- Control material usage (paint, consumables, spare parts)
n
- Prepare reports on performance and KPIs
n

n7. Safety & Compliancen

n
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations
n
- Maintain proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
n
- Ensure workshop cleanliness and organization
n

nQualifications & Skills:n

Education:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field
n

nExperience:n

n
- 5–10 years in automotive body shop operations
n
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role
n

nSkills:n

n
- Strong leadership and team management
n
- Knowledge of denting, painting, and repair techniques
n
- Familiarity with insurance claim processes
n
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills
n
- Basic financial and reporting skills
n
