Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Food Safety Officer with 13 years of experience in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety standards, managing licensing requirements, and maintaining hygiene and quality across operations. Experience in beverages, dairy, or food manufacturing will be highly preferred.Role & responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards (FSSAI and other applicable norms).
- Handle end-to-end licensing work, including application, renewal, and documentation for food business operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the warehouse in Howrah to ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
- Maintain records of quality checks, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and internal teams for audits and approvals.
- Identify potential risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Train staff on food safety practices, hygiene standards, and SOPs.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of food products.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology,



or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in food, beverage, or dairy industry.
- Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations and food safety compliance.
- Experience in handling licenses and regulatory documentation.
- Ability to conduct audits and inspections independently.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to Howrah warehouse as required.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in beverage or dairy production units.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, or other food safety certifications.
- Hands-on experience in quality control and assurance processes.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
