Hiring – AR collections Level 1

Department: Finance Shared Services / Global Business Services (FSS/GBS)

Reports To: Team Leader / Associate Manager

Location: Mumbai (Remote)

One to two years experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Key Attributes

· Advanced Excel skills and ERP understanding with ability to learn new systems quickly. (Oracle, QuickBooks, sage etc)

· Accurate handling of cash applications and strong attention to detail

· Clear communication and professional work ethic

· Process improvement mindset with focus on meeting SLAs

· Proactive approach and strong collaboration with clients and internal teams

2. Indicative Process Responsibilities

· Apply Customer payments accurately to invoices in ERP system

· Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure correctness

· Respond to customer queries regarding payments and account status

· Prepare and share AR aging with finance and management

· Support month-end closing with AR-related entries and reports

· Coordinate with sales and operation teams to resolve billing disputes

3. Overall

· Coordinating with external clients and internal stakeholders via email to resolve the issues





· Adhere to Month End Closer/Year End Closer timelines

· Explore for continuous process improvements and share best practices across teams

· Contribute to team metrics by achieving stated productivity and accuracy goals on a daily basis

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· SLA & KPI achievement across AP/AR/RTR/Payroll

· Month-end close accuracy & timeliness

· Productivity and cost-per-transaction metrics

· Compliance & audit scores

· Error rate / rework levels

· Stakeholder satisfaction (CSAT/NPS)

· Attrition, engagement & people metrics

· Continuous improvement savings and automation outcomes

Qualifications & Experience

Education

· Graduates from Commerce Discipline

Experience

· 1 to 3 Years

Type of Work Experience

· Has worked in BPO industry in the AR program

· Good interpersonal skills and team player

· Strong communication skills (verbal and written, strong command of English language

· Understanding of accounting concepts and principles

· Target oriented with strong focus on meeting SLA Commitments

· Eye for detail and accuracy

· Adaptable with work shift
