South Theory is looking for an experienced and responsible Chef who can manage kitchen operations independently and maintain high food quality standards.

This role is suited for someone who understands not only cooking, but also inventory control, reporting, and kitchen discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and oversee daily food production

Ensure consistent taste, portion control, and food quality

Manage raw material inventory and stock usage

Monitor food wastage and control costs

Maintain basic daily reports (stock, usage, shortages)

Ensure hygiene and food safety standards

Coordinate with management for kitchen requirements

Guide and supervise kitchen helpers

Requirements

3–5 years experience in a restaurant kitchen





Experience in inventory handling and kitchen management

Knowledge of South Indian cuisine (biryani experience preferred)

Comfortable with basic reporting (WhatsApp / straightforward records)

Responsible, punctual, and reliable

Ability to work independently and take ownership

Salary

₹28,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience and skill)

Location

South Theory – Alappuzha
