Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and student-focused PGT Biology teacher to handle senior secondary classes (Grades XI & XII) under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be strong in conceptual understanding, practical application, and exam-oriented preparation.

This is a dual-campus role, where the teacher will work 3 days a week at the Marathahalli campus and 3 days at the HSR Layout campus.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Biology to Grades XI & XII as per CBSE curriculum
- Deliver engaging theoretical and practical (lab-based) sessions
- Prepare lesson plans, lab work, and assessment materials
- Focus on conceptual clarity, diagrams, and application-based learning
- Conduct regular tests, assignments, and evaluations
- Support students with doubt-clearing sessions and academic mentoring
- Prepare students for board exams and basic NEET-level understanding
- Maintain student academic records and lab reports
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic reviews
- Ensure consistency in teaching quality across both campuses
- Collaborate with faculty for curriculum planning and execution

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

- M.Sc. in Biology / Life Sciences (mandatory)
- B.Ed. (preferred / as per CBSE norms)

Experience:

- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary (XI & XII)




- Experience with CBSE curriculum is highly preferred

Skills Required

- Strong subject knowledge (Botany & Zoology fundamentals)
- Ability to simplify complex biological processes
- Solid diagrammatic and explanatory teaching approach
- Hands-on experience with lab instruction
- Good classroom management skills
- Effective communication skills (English mandatory; Kannada is an advantage)
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools

Additional Expectations (Dual-Campus Role)

- Willingness to travel between Marathahalli and HSR Layout campuses
- Ability to manage a weekly schedule of 3 days at each campus
- Strong coordination and time management skills
- Consistency in teaching delivery across campuses
- Active participation in academic and co-curricular activities
