Indicative range: $65,000 – $105,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.Role OverviewWe are hiring an Underwriter to evaluate and price risk across our portfolio. The role combines analytical rigor with sound judgement — making the calls that protect profitability while supporting growth.Key Responsibilities- Evaluate applications and price risk according to underwriting guidelines- Analyse financial statements, loss runs, and supporting documentation- Approve, decline, or refer cases based on risk appetite and authority limits- Negotiate terms with brokers, agents, or applicants- Maintain accurate documentation and rationale for each decision- Partner with claims, actuarial, and product teams on portfolio insightsRequired Skills and Qualifications- 3+ years in underwriting (commercial, personal, life,
