Roles and Responsibilities of a Math Teacher. Curriculum Planning & Lesson Preparation

- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans as per the syllabus.
- Follow the prescribed curriculum (State/CBSE/ICSE, etc.).
- Design engaging and interactive math lessons.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, and practice materials.
- Integrate real-life examples to make concepts practical.

2. Classroom Teaching

- Teach mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Use teaching aids such as charts, models, smart boards, and digital tools.
- Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning workplace.
- Address different learning levels (slow learners & advanced learners).

3. Student Assessment & Evaluation

- Conduct class tests, unit tests, and exams.
- Evaluate answer sheets fairly and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain academic records and progress reports.
- Identify weak students and provide remedial support.
- Prepare students for board exams and competitive exams (if applicable).

4. Doubt Clarification & Student Support

- Clarify student doubts during and after class.
- Provide extra classes when required.




- Motivate students to overcome math anxiety.
- Guide students in completing homework and projects.

5. Use of Teaching Methods & Technology

- Use activity-based and experiential learning methods.
- Incorporate math games and puzzles.
- Use online platforms, math software, and digital tools.
- Encourage project-based learning.

6. Parent & School Coordination

- Attend parent-teacher meetings (PTMs).
- Communicate student progress with parents.
- Work with other teachers for interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in staff meetings and school programs.

7. Professional Development

- Attend workshops, seminars, and training programs.
- Stay updated with new teaching methodologies.
- Improve subject knowledge continuously.

8. Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain attendance records.
- Prepare question papers and exam papers.
- Support school events and examination duties.
- Follow school policies and academic guidelines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mahbubnagar, Telangana: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Education:

- Master's (Preferred)

Experience:

- Math: 5 years (Required)
