Hostel Warden (Residential) Hiring is open for both Male and Female

Shroffs Foundation Trust, is looking for a responsible and disciplined Hostel Warden to manage hostel operations and ensure the safety, discipline, and well-being of residential students at our VIVEC campus in Paldi, Vadodara.

The selected candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment for students enrolled in various vocational training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain all hostel and residential student records and registers
- Maintain mandatory documents related to hostel accommodation
- Conduct roll calls twice daily and report attendance
- Monitor student leave records and coordinate with trainers and management
- Ensure discipline, safety, and a ragging-free hostel campus
- Conduct regular inspections and night rounds to prevent unwanted incidents
- Provide immediate support during medical emergencies and coordinate with healthcare services
- Supervise housekeeping, cleanliness, and hostel maintenance
- Maintain stock records of consumables and hostel assets
- Monitor outsourced services such as security, housekeeping, gardening, and cleaning
- Manage canteen operations including procurement, hygiene, and record keeping
- Maintain ambulance usage records and verify bills of outsourced services
- Participate in discipline, health, sports, and canteen committees
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Director/Management from time to time

Required Qualifications Experience: Educational Background:



Minimum Graduate from a recognized university | Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hostel administration, residential institutions, or student welfare Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in a hostel, residential school, ITI, or training institute | Experience in managing students and campus facilities will be an added advantage

Skills Competencies:

- Strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and integrity
- Ability to handle students with care and firmness
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic record keeping and reporting skills
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly
- Willingness to stay on campus and work in emergencies, including nights
- Age Limit: Preferably 35-55 years (relaxation may be given to deserving candidates as per Trust norms)

1. Trainer Sewing Machine Operator (SMO)

Shroffs Foundation Trust, a leading NGO based in Vadodara with 30+ years of impactful work in Rural Tribal Development, Healthcare, and Skill Development, is looking for a skilled and passionate Trainer Sewing Machine Operator (SMO) to join the Education Training team at VIVEC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver classroom and hands-on practical training aligned with NSQF and Apparel Sector Skill Council standards
- Train students in basics of garment construction and stitching techniques
- Teach identification and operation of industrial sewing machines
- Train students in machine operation and maintenance
- Guide trainees in fabric types, measurement, and cutting techniques
- Train students in the use of tailoring tools and equipment
- Conduct practical demonstrations and supervise practice sessions
- Maintain attendance records, practical logbooks, and assessment documentation
- Prepare session plans and ensure syllabus completion on time




- Conduct internal assessments and prepare students for external skill assessments
- Guide students on self-employment opportunities and small tailoring unit setup
- Ensure proper maintenance of sewing machines, tools, and training lab infrastructure
- Support placement activities and coordinate with garment factories, tailoring units, and boutiques
- Participate in mobilization activities, exhibitions, and institutional programs

Required Qualifications Experience | Educational Background (any one of the following):
- ITI in Sewing Technology / Dressmaking / Fashion Design
- Diploma in Fashion Designing / Apparel Manufacturing
- NSQF Certified Sewing Machine Operator
- Experienced Tailor / Master Cutter with relevant certification
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant industry experience in garment manufacturing, tailoring units, or boutiques

Experience in handling industrial sewing machines preferred Prior teaching or training experience will be an added advantage

Skills Competencies:

- Strong practical knowledge of stitching and garment construction
- Ability to demonstrate machine operations clearly and safely
- Knowledge of fabric handling and quality control basics
- Good communication and mentoring ability
- Patience and ability to train rural and tribal youth effectively
- Record-keeping and reporting skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Language Proficiency: Gujarati, Hindi, English
