Sr Data Architect – Consumer Customer Success
About the Role:
The Sr Data Architect will play a critical role in driving business engagement and shaping strategic roadmaps to maximize the adoption and impact of enterprise data products. As the first point of contact for external requests, this role ensures alignment across teams by streamlining intake and prioritization processes, enabling seamless collaboration and efficient execution. The Sr. Data Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-class relational and dimensional data models while providing technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring engineers, and evolving best practices. In close partnership with leadership, solution architects, and development teams, this role will guide the Business Intelligence strategy to enhance data architecture, improve pipeline efficiency, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs. With a strong focus on managing complex requirements and multiple workstreams, the Sr.



Data Architect will balance hands-on development with driving cross-team alignment to deliver impactful results.

Must have skills:
Data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER Studio, and Power Designer or other similar tools.
Data modeling experience across conceptual, logical, and physical models, including relational, dimensional, and NoSQL modeling (7-10+ years).
Medallion architecture design (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
Multi-cloud data platform architecture design supporting scalability and interoperability.
Semantic layer strategy and design: entities, dimensions, measures, and metrics aligned to business domains.
Multi-tenant and multi-domain federation patterns for scalable data product integration.
Federated catalog and metadata synchronization for unified data discovery, lineage, and governance.
Data lifecycle policy definition, including retention, archival, and storage optimization.
Master Data Management (MDM) and metadata management.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and data classification/handling standards.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design platforms such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.




Experience with big data technologies: Spark, Kafka, Flink, Python, etc.
Real-time streaming data profiling, analysis, and processing.
Databricks (specifically Unity Catalog and Delta Lake architecture).

As an Architect, you must have:
Ability to define and own enterprise data architecture strategy and roadmaps.
Experience leading Architecture Review Boards or design authority processes.
Data governance framework design and enforcement, including lineage and cataloging.
Data analysis on source and target systems: identifying data gaps, root cause analysis, etc.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, TPM, analytics, and business teams.
Strategic thinking with a focus on scalability, cost optimization, and futureproofing.

What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor‘s Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business (Required).
Experience in lieu of education accepted (Required).
10+ years‘ Experience with enterprise level database systems and environments such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL Server or other.
10+ years Progressive experience in software engineering / enterprise architecture / technology leadership across multiple products, systems and / or platforms coupled with solid business acumen and executive presence. (Required).
10+ years‘ Experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions.
