Responsibilities

- Develop and execute supply chain planning strategies to optimize inventory management and fill rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand planning and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Monitor and analyze service rates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Minimize non-ideal movement and network optimisation to reduce distribution cost
- Identify SLOBs/ low shelf life items and take necessary steps to avoid expiries
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement efficient inventory management systems and processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Track and analyze fill rates, identifying trends and implementing initiatives to improve service levels.
- Conduct regular reviews of supply chain performance and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in supply chain planning and logistics.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to supply chain operations

Experience and Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain planning or a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using supply chain planning software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing supply chain strategies and improving operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices in supply chain management.
- Solid leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in supply chain management
