Hiring: Product Specialist – NPD | Frido | Pune

At Frido, we’re building products that improve how people walk, sit, and sleep. We’re a fast-growing ergonomic wellness brand driven by design, science, and real user needs.

We’re looking for someone who can own product development end-to-end—from idea to launch with strong execution on-ground.

Core Expectations:

• Strong academic background in Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics (Tier 1 / Tier 1.5 institutes preferred – IITs, NITs)

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in product development / NPD

• Own the complete development lifecycle—from sample builds to production handoff.

• Identify and qualify current suppliers for components, raw materials, and outsourced processes.

• Maintain sourcing documentation including supplier capability matrix, pricing history, and delivery performance logs.

• Practical exposure to vendor management,



outsourcing, reverse engineering

• Experience in product testing & reliability validation. Validate samples through internal testing and targeted user feedback loops.

• Ability to work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams

• Ownership of timelines, cost, and quality, not just coordination

Experience Range:

• 3–6 years – Product Specialist / NPD / Product Development

• 6–8 years – Product Manager level (for broader ownership)

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.

• Excellent communication skills with an ownership mindset and strong attention to detail.
