Senior Quality Engineer – Farm & Industrial Machinery

We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who can build and own the entire quality function—from incoming inspection to field performance.

What You’ll Do

Own end-to-end quality systems across product lifecycle

Set up and manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection systems

Develop quality standards, SOPs, and checklists for production

Work closely with design and production teams to ensure DFM & DFA compliance

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions

Drive vendor quality management and audits

Monitor and improve field failure rates and product reliability

Build and lead a small quality team (inspectors, QA engineers)

What Actually Matters

Proven experience in quality engineering for machinery/products (not just documentation)





Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, assemblies, and tolerances

Experience handling vendor quality and shop-floor quality issues

Ability to solve real problems fast, not escalate endlessly

Comfortable working in a hands-on, rapid-moving environment

Ability to balance quality vs cost vs speed (this is critical)

Good to Have

Experience in Agri machinery / food processing equipment

Familiarity with ISO systems, QC tools (7QC, FMEA, SPC)

Exposure to sheet metal, welding, plastics, and assemblies

Experience with field failure analysis and reliability improvement
