Position: Purchase Manager

Location: Vasai-Virar (Mumbai)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Purchase Manager with robust expertise in the procurement of packaging and consumables materials, including paper and non-paper stationery. The ideal candidate will bring analytical skills, negotiation ability, and proficiency in SAP modules to manage procurement operations effectively for our manufacturing plant.

✅ Key Responsibilities

- Lead procurement of packaging and consumables materials across FMCG, Textiles, Automobile, and Pharma sectors.
- Manage sourcing of paper and non-paper stationery materials.
- Develop vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and quality.
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support plant operations.
- Utilize SAP (PP & MM modules) and advanced Excel for procurement planning and reporting.

Qualifications

- Education: B.E.



Mechanical
- Experience: 15–20 years in procurement/purchase management
- Industry Exposure: FMCG, Packaging, Textiles, Automobile, Pharma

Skills & Competencies

- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel
- Hands-on experience with SAP-PP & MM Modules

Language Requirements

- Mandatory: Gujarati, Hindi & English
- Preferred: Marathi (not mandatory)

Work Environment & Facilities

- Plant Employee Strength: 1500+
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
