To further our growth in key markets, we are actively looking for candidates to be our Container Trading Executive (India/ME).
As Container Trading Executive (India/ME), you will be responsible for all sales and support activities within the Indian sub-continent and the Middle East. You will be working independently, involved in day-to-day sales activities, establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, and other administrative tasks. You will report directly to the CEO.
This is a remote working role; upon request, a membership to a coworking space will be provided.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales of new and used container fleet for dry boxes, specials and reefers within ISC/ME
Establishing and maintaining customer & vendor relationships
Develop and deliver sales targets against sales plan
Delivering volume growth with key accounts, across all categories including direct key account management
Ensuring profitable and productive accounts across all market segments
Develop and build upon relationships with customers to ensure the company can grow sales and presence in core areas
Industry events and trade shows as necessary to effectively expand presence in the market place
WHO YOU ARE
You have experience and demonstrated ability in B2B sales, with networks and connections primarily in the container, logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, maritime or other equivalent industries.
You are disciplined and able to focus on outcomes to produce results, able to work independently. You are pro-active and have initiative in anticipating problems before they occur. You are also resourceful and cutting-edge, thinking out of the box for creative solutions. You are customer-oriented, striving to give the best service all the time.
You are calm under pressure, able to multi-task and work in a sometimes high-pressure environment.
You are fluent in English with CRM software, G Suite and other project management software experience.
Fluency in Hindi and/or Arabic is an added bonus.
You are flexible with occasional travel within ISC/ME & other areas as and when required.
