Job Description

LumenData is seeking an experienced Informatica MDM QA Lead to join our team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica MDM SaaS / Multidomain MDM, data quality validation, integration testing, and end-to-end QA processes for enterprise data management solutions.

The role requires leading QA activities across MDM implementations, ensuring high-quality data integrations, validating match & merge logic, survivorship rules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams in agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead QA activities for Informatica MDM SaaS / Multidomain MDM implementations and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for MDM projects.
- Validate match & merge rules, survivorship logic, hierarchy management, reference data, and data stewardship workflows.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, API, and data validation testing for MDM and IICS applications.
- Validate integrations involving IICS CDI, CDQ, CAI, REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and downstream applications.
- Conduct extensive SQL and backend data validation testing across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or cloud databases.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and data stewards to ensure data quality and business rule compliance.
- Identify, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Support UAT cycles and coordinate defect resolution with development teams.




- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical leadership on testing best practices.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation including test execution reports, RTM, defect reports, and quality metrics dashboards.
- Drive automation initiatives for API testing, regression testing, and data validation wherever applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8+ years of QA/testing experience with at least 3+ years in Informatica MDM testing.
- Solid hands-on experience in Informatica MDM SaaS or Multidomain MDM.
- Good understanding of MDM concepts including match/merge, survivorship, hierarchies, reference data, and data governance.
- Experience testing integrations involving IICS CDI, CDQ, and CAI.
- Strong expertise in SQL, ETL testing, and backend data validation.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of defect management and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or TestRail.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Informatica MDM or IICS Certification is a plus.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting using Python or Shell scripting.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Experience leading offshore/onshore QA coordination and release validation activities.
