Job Description
• Role focused on General Ledger (GL) accounting and financial operations
• Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting close processes
• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth accounting operations and reporting Key
Responsibilities
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
• Support preparation of financial reports and statements
• Assist in audit processes and documentation
• Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and controls
• Collaborate with teams for process improvements and efficiency
Required Skills
• Strong experience in General Ledger (GL) Accounting
• Experience in month-end close and reconciliations
• Hands-on experience with journal entries and accruals
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Strong Excel skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Preferred Skills
• Experience with ERP systems
• Exposure to audit support and documentation
• Experience working in shared services / corporate environment
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (Mandatory)
• M.Com / MBA (Finance) – Preferred
• CA Inter / CMA Inter – Valuable to have (not mandatory)
