What this role is about

Yup, we made up the name. But the role is exactly what it sounds like. You'll be editing our reels :)

If you've ever watched a reel and thought, "I could've edited that better", hi, we've been looking for you. We're bringing video editing in-house, and we need someone who can take our raw footage, do magic (aka, the actual work), and create something scroll-stopping. You'll be editing videos across social media and paid ads. Meaning, sometimes polished and high-production, sometimes quick and punchy, but always tells a story.

What you'll be doing

- Editing social media videos (organic and paid content) — quick, engaging cuts optimised for Instagram
- Working across both high-production and lightweight edits, depending on what the content needs
- Pitching edit style options — you shouldn't just execute, you should have a point of view on what will work and why
- Handling a high volume of content every month — you'll need to be organised, efficient, and able to prioritise

What we're looking for

Must-haves

- A portfolio that shows range across different formats and styles
- Proficiency in editing tools — Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent
- Comfortable with lightweight editing tools — InShot, Instagram's native editor, or similar — for quick social media cuts
- Familiar with AI tools for video editing — and genuinely curious about what's coming next in this space
- A strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
- A solid understanding of the social media and digital marketing landscape — what holds retention, and what makes an ad convert
- Efficient and organised — you'll be working across multiple videos simultaneously, and deadlines matter
- Able to take feedback and turn revisions around quickly





Valuable to have

- Prior experience editing content for fitness, lifestyle, or consumer brands

- Detail-oriented but not precious — you care about quality, but you know when done is better than perfect
- You have opinions. You challenge our opinions. You say, "Here's what I think will work better and why"
- Takes ownership — you don't need to be told twice, and you don't need to be chased for deadlines
- Curious about content — you watch videos critically, keep up with what's working on social and in ads, and bring that awareness into your edits
- Genuinely interested in fitness and strength training — it helps to care about what you're making

Basically, someone who has an eye for great content, and can make it!
