Our client has launched and raised capital for a new Private Credit strategy that will primarily invest in mid-market and upper mid-market Indian companies across Healthcare, Manufacturing, Technology, and Financial Services end markets.

The new Private Credit strategy is looking to actively deploy capital, with the intention of significantly growing an asset management platform in the Indian Private Credit industry. Investments will include a mix of Senior Debt and Hybrid Capital (debt with equity upside).

With a new strategy in place, we are looking to hire an Associate Investments. The ideal candidate is someone entrepreneurial, willing to work in a high-impact, high-responsibility environment with strong technical and behavioural skills. The chance is to becomethe first juniorhire on the team, with an opportunity to grow in the organization as we scale the strategy.

As a member of the newly formed Private Credit strategy, you will:

Participate in the underwriting and execution of private credit investments across various sectors, including due diligence, financial modeling, structuring, and transaction execution
Prepare thorough investment committee memos and high-impact pitch materials, leveraging quantitative analysis, market research, and scenario modeling
Develop, audit,



and maintain advanced investment models(Excel) that support structuring, pacing, and performance analysis for potential investments
Assist in portfolio management, including analyzing monthly and quarterly company reports and assisting portfolio companies with strategic projects, when needed.Produce periodic monitoring/valuation reports, track KPI performance, and identify risks for portfolio companies
Interface with legal, operations, and compliance teams to deliverdata, reports, and portfolio updates for LPs and regulatory requirements
Assist with regular investor communications, fund reporting, and responses to ad hoc investment committee due diligence queries and requests
Ability to take initiative and ownership, think with an entrepreneurial mindset with extremely high intellectual curiosity and integrity

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance,Economics, Business, or a similardiscipline with a demonstrated track record of academic excellence
1–2 years of experience in private credit, private equity, investment banking, management consulting or asset management, with significant exposureto the Indian mid-market / upper mid-market investment landscape
