Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Engineer – Finishings (Civil) – High-Rise Residential

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Experience Required: 3 to 6 years in Civil Engineering with experience in high-rise residential projects (mandatory)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our team with a focus on finishings in high-rise residential construction. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience ensuring that the finishing work meets the highest standards of quality, especially within high-rise residential projects. This role will be based in Hyderabad and offers the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and challenging high-rise residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee and ensure that all civil finishing works in high-rise residential buildings (e.g., plastering, painting, flooring, wall finishes, false ceilings, etc.) meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of work, ensuring compliance with project specifications, relevant codes, and industry best practices for high-rise residential construction.
- Material & Workmanship Verification: Inspect the quality of materials used in finishings and ensure they conform to the standards. Ensure that all workmanship is executed as per design specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken, including all non-conformance reports (NCRs). Prepare quality control reports and submit them to senior management.
- Coordination with Site Teams:



Work closely with site engineers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of quality control activities and the timely resolution of any quality issues.
- Quality Audits: Conduct regular quality audits to ensure that the work is progressing according to quality standards and rectify issues immediately when detected.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify and report non-conformance in quality, material defects, or any deviations from design specifications, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all quality control activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s safety policies and protocols.
- Client Interaction: Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address any quality concerns and ensure the final deliverable meets client satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in quality control processes and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations on-site.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Educational Qualification: B. Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in Quality Control within the civil construction industry, with a mandatory focus on high-rise residential projects.




- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards related to high-rise residential buildings. In-depth understanding of finishings like plastering, painting, flooring, false ceilings, tiling, etc.
- Knowledge of Codes & Standards: Familiarity with IS Codes and international standards related to civil engineering finishings, particularly for high-rise buildings.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and any construction/project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect flaws and issues in work quality and workmanship, with a keen eye for detail.
- Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address quality issues on-site efficiently.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Team Player: Able to work in a collaborative workplace, taking initiative and ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications: Any certifications in Quality Control or related fields (e.g., Six Sigma, Quality Assurance in Construction) are highly desirable.
- Experience in High-Rise Projects: Candidates with experience in managing quality control for luxury high-rise residential projects or tower buildings will be given preference.
