Job Title : Manufacturing Process Consultant
Experience: 8–10 Years
Location: Onsite (Noida)
Duration: Short-Term Contract ( 3 to 6 Months)

We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Consultant to support an AI-led modernization initiative focused on transforming the Product Change Management (PCO/ECN) process for a large global manufacturing organization. In this role, you will act as a bridge between manufacturing domain experts and AI engineering teams, ensuring real-world processes, constraints, and decision logic are accurately translated into scalable, intelligent solutions.

Responsibilities:

Process Discovery & Stakeholder Engagement
Conduct workshops and interviews with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Product, Document Control)
Capture undocumented workflows and extract tacit knowledge
Build robust stakeholder relationships to drive insights

Process Mapping & Analysis
Map end-to-end product change lifecycle:
Change request initiation
Engineering validation
BOM updates
Supplier coordination
Production validation
Final release
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and dependencies
Document variations across PCO/ECN workflows

Manufacturing Execution Understanding
Analyze how changes impact production lines and operations
Capture constraints like inventory transitions, supplier readiness, and production continuity
Incorporate execution realities into solution design

Systems & Data Analysis




Understand integration with enterprise systems:
ERP (SAP preferred)
PLM (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia)
Document management systems
Identify data dependencies, flows, and quality issues

AI Opportunity Identification
Translate workflows into structured inputs for AI solutions
Identify automation opportunities such as:
PCO classification
Document comparison
BOM validation
Risk prediction
Ensure solutions align with real operational constraints

Risk & Governance
Map approval workflows and cross-functional dependencies
Identify risks, delays, and conflict points
Recommend improvements for governance, tracking, and decision-making

Required Experience
8–10 years in Manufacturing Operations / Industrial Engineering / PLM
Strong experience in:
Product Change Orders (PCO)
Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
Experience working in cross-functional manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with:
ERP systems (SAP preferred)
PLM platforms (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia)
Strong skills in process discovery, stakeholder engagement, and workflow documentation

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PLM implementations
Exposure to production environments and change execution
Knowledge of manufacturing constraints & supply chain dependencies
Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma / APQP / NPD
Experience in digital transformation or AI-driven initiatives
