Position: Regional Direct Tax Lead
Designation: Asst Manager - Manager
Function : Finance & Accounts - Taxation
Location: CP, New Delhi
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (Mandatory), with minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in core Direct Taxation domain (not transfer pricing). Only candidates from big 4 and top level tax advisory firm need apply.

Key Responsibilities:
To lead and manage all direct tax matters for the assigned region, ensuring 100% statutory compliance in line with applicable Income Tax laws
Manage direct tax compliance including Income Tax returns, advance tax, TDS/TCS, and tax audits
Handle Income Tax assessments, reassessments, rectification proceedings, and scrutiny cases
Prepare responses to notices under various sections of the Income Tax Act
Coordinate with tax consultants, advocates, and auditors for appeals before CIT(A), ITAT,
and higher authorities
Support transfer pricing documentation and compliance for inter-company and inter-unit transactions
Support tax planning and optimization initiatives within the legal framework
Guide plant & regional finance teams on tax provisions, TDS compliance, and documentation in alignment with corporate tax policies and governance standards
Track changes in tax laws and advise stakeholders on implications
Key Skills & Competencies:
Robust knowledge of Indian Income Tax Act, Rules, and litigation procedures
Good analytical skill for complex tax computations and assessments
Ability to effectively manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
