Role Overview
As a Students Counsellor, you will play a key role in fostering a positive campus environment by guiding students through academic, emotional, and personal challenges. You will contribute to their holistic development and success through structured counselling and support initiatives.

️ Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counselling for academic, emotional, and personal concerns
Promote mental health awareness and well-being initiatives
Support students in overcoming academic challenges and improving performance
Offer career guidance, goal setting, and decision-making support
Collaborate with parents and faculty for student development
Identify at-risk students and provide timely intervention or referrals
Design and deliver life skills and personal development programs
Maintain confidential records and prepare reports
Ensure adherence to institutional policies and ethical standards

Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Social Work / Sociology / Human Development or related field
Certification or diploma in counselling/guidance (preferred)
10–15 years of experience in student counselling or support services (education sector preferred)
Strong understanding of adolescent behavior and mental health
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency in English and Tamil (spoken & written)
Familiarity with career guidance tools and wellness programs
⏳ Experience
10–15 years in student counselling / student support services
