Role Overview
As the Business Head of Skill Development, you will spearhead the organization’s government-funded skilling vertical across India. You will be responsible for the full P&L; of large-scale initiatives, including NSDC and PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) projects. This role requires a strategic leader capable of managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously while leading a massive, Pan-India team to drive socio-economic impact and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
Direct ownership of the P&L; for all government skilling projects (PMKVY, DDU-GKY, NULM, etc.), ensuring sustainable growth and target achievement.
Develop and execute annual operating plans (AOP), focusing on revenue generation and cost optimization across multiple state and central schemes.
Government Liaison & Tendering.
Oversee the end-to-end tendering process, from identifying opportunities and technical bid preparation to final negotiation and empanelment.
Manage a Pan-India network of training centres and ensure 100% compliance with government guidelines (e.g., PMKVY 4.0 guidelines).




Monitor multi-state operations to ensure high-quality training delivery, candidate certification, and placement mandates.
Lead and mentor a large, geographically dispersed team.
Foster a performance-driven culture focused on meeting rigorous government reporting standards and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 15+ years of experience in the skill development sector, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role managing a P&L; of ₹20 Cr+.
Domain Expertise: Proven track record in executing NSDC and PMKVY projects; deep knowledge of NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) and NCVET standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Social Sciences; MBA from a reputable institute is highly preferred.
Skills: Expertise in government liaison, financial modeling, large-scale project management, and cross-functional team leadership.
