As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize software solutions with a strong focus on Splunk-based implementations. You’ll work in a cooperative, agile environment to build scalable systems, improve performance, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Splunk
- Act as an SME and contribute to technical decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and performance issues
- Enhance existing applications for scalability, reliability, and efficiency
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies (scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Maintain clear technical documentation for solutions and processes
- Support and mentor junior developers
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Splunk Development & Administration
- Experience with dashboards, alerts, reports, and data ingestion
- Proficiency in modern development practices and frameworks
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies
- Ability to write clean, optimized, and maintainable code
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Splunk
- 15 years of full-time education (mandatory)
