Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tekla Modeler with 4-8 years of experience to join our team in SES, Hosur.

Key Responsibilities

1. 3D Modelling & Drafting

· Develop accurate 3D models of Steel structural elements such as beams, columns, connections, stairs, handrails, and ladders using Tekla Structures.

· Generate comprehensive fabrication and erection drawings, including shop drawings, single-part drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.

· Understanding the Structural design aspects and requirements to meet the Steel Structural design and Codes standards compliance.

2. Clash Detection & Coordination

· Perform clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts within the model, ensuring seamless integration of various structural components.

· Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate models and incorporate design changes effectively.

3. Documentation & Reporting

· Produce detailed reports and documentation, including material take-offs, assembly lists,



and part lists directly from the Tekla model.

· Ensure all documentation adheres to project specifications and industry standards.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

· Review and analyse project documents to identify discrepancies or missing information, raising technical queries as necessary.

· Ensure models and drawings comply with relevant codes and standards such as AISC, AWS, and OSHA.

5. Support & Training

· Assist in training and mentoring junior modelers, providing guidance on best practices and software usage.

· Stay updated with the latest developments in Tekla Structures and industry trends to enhance modelling efficiency.

✅ Requirements

· Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

· Software Proficiency: Expertise in Tekla Structures; familiarity with other software like AutoCAD or Revit is advantageous.

· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural and architectural design principles, fabrication processes, and construction methodologies.

· Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise models and drawings, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the project.

· Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
