Xpego is Bengaluru's curated urban experience marketplace connecting consumers with the best local experiences across wellness, adventure, food, arts, and more. We are a DPIIT-recognised pre-seed startup with a live platform, active brand partners, and a signed venue partnership with a multi national hospitality chain.

We are building the discovery and booking layer for India's experience economy — starting in Bengaluru, with a vision to scale nationally and globally.

About the Role

We are looking for a Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer to own the entire business side of Xpego. This is a founding team role with meaningful equity, not a salaried position.

You will work directly alongside the technical co-founder to drive brand partner acquisition, venue and corporate partnerships, investor relations, and go-to-market execution. The platform is built and live. The payment engine is being enabled. The next chapter is growth — and that is what you will own.

What You Will Own

Brand partner acquisition and onboarding across Bengaluru's experience ecosystem — wellness, arts, food, outdoor, and hospitality categories.

Venue and corporate partnerships — building on the existing partnership to establish Xpego as the preferred experience platform for premium Bengaluru properties.

Investor relations and fundraising — leading the pre-seed round alongside the founder, managing investor pipeline, pitch preparation, and term sheet negotiations.

Go-to-market strategy and execution — consumer growth, community partnerships, and brand awareness across Bengaluru.

What We Are Looking For

MBA from IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS, or an equivalent top international business school.

Two to six years of experience in a high-growth startup, management consulting, investment banking,



or business development role.

A proven track record of closing deals — partnerships, sales, or investor commitments — not just strategy and planning.

Solid understanding of marketplace dynamics, two-sided platforms, or the consumer startup ecosystem in India.

Bengaluru-based or willing to relocate immediately.

Genuine passion for the experience economy and building a consumer brand from the ground up.

Compensation

This is an equity-only role until the pre-seed funding round closes. Compensation will be structured as a meaningful co-founder equity stake, subject to a vesting schedule agreed upon by both parties. Candidates who require a fixed salary at this stage are encouraged to apply once we have completed our funding round.
