Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Software Asset Management Specialist with advanced Service Now SAM Professional expertise to support our organization during a major company divestiture . This role will focus on managing software assets, ensuring compliance, and leveraging Service Now SAM-P capabilities to streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Now SAM Administration

- Configure, maintain, and optimize Service Now SAM Professional modules for license tracking, compliance, and reporting.
- Automate workflows and dashboards to support divestiture-related software asset activities.
- Ensure accurate data integrity within Service Now for all software assets.

Software Asset Management

- Maintain comprehensive records of software contracts, software licenses and entitlements.
- Monitor compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements during organizational changes.
- Ensure both entities remain compliant during the transition period.




- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and risk mitigation.

Divestiture Support

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth cloning of divestiture data to a new Service Now tenant.

Reporting & Analysis

- Generate detailed reports and dashboards in Service Now on compliance, usage and contracts.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

- 5+ years' experience in Software Asset Management, with strong Service Now SAM Skilled expertise.
- Deep understanding of software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
- Experience supporting M&A; or divestiture projects highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Service Now SAM Professional certification.
- ITIL or IAITAM SAM certification.
- Familiarity with Costpoint or Microsoft Dynamics is desirable.

Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
