Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow for a Branch Credit Manager.

The Branch Credit

Manager will oversee credit underwriting, evaluate and manage credit risk, and ensure adherence to established financial guidelines. The role involves conducting thorough credit assessments, analyzing financial data, and monitoring loan approvals to maintain the credit portfolio's quality and compliance.



The candidate will also collaborate closely with other departments to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; an MBA or professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in MBL/LAP/MSME segments
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, banking assessment, and income evaluation
- Hands-on experience in property-backed loan appraisal (technical/legal aspects, valuation, LTV assessment).
- Ability to assess risk parameters such as FOIR, CIBIL, banking conduct, and business stability.
- Familiarity with policy norms, deviation handling, and preparation of credit notes with mitigants.
- Valuable analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder coordination skills.
