We are seeking a competent Assistant Manager – Design to oversee and strengthen our design function within the pharma engineering and tooling domain. The role requires solid technical expertise along with effective cross-functional coordination skills.
Position: Assistant Manager - Design
Experience: 5 to 7 Years in the Pharma Manufacturing/ Tooling Industry.
Qualification: Diploma / BE – Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure smooth functioning of the Design Department with proper allocation of resources
2. Monitor and achieve Key Result Areas (KRAs) related to design
3. Prioritise tablet and tooling design requests and manage resource allocation effectively
4. Collaborate with marketing, production,
and development teams to ensure design alignment
5. Analyse customer feedback, complaints, and production gaps to improve designs
6. Prepare and present monthly MIS reports
Key Requirements
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design and tooling
- Knowledge of Materials of Construction (MOC)
- Experience in pharma tooling or tablet compression industry preferred
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and coordination skills
