Role : Windows VMware Engineer (L3 / L4)

? Experience: 6 – 10 Years

? Location: Pune

? Primary Skill:

Windows Server Administration + VMware (vSphere/ESXi)

Responsible for managing and supporting enterprise Windows server environments hosted on VMware infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and secure operations.

? Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and administer Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) environments
- Handle VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) operations and maintenance
- Perform VM provisioning, migration, cloning, and decommissioning
- Monitor system performance and implement optimization and capacity planning
- Manage patching, upgrades, and security compliance (WSUS/SCCM)
- Troubleshoot OS-level, virtualization, and performance issues
- Support backup & recovery (Veeam/NetBackup or similar tools)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP,



Group Policy
- Ensure high availability (HA, DRS, clustering) configurations
- Perform incident, problem, and change management as per ITIL
- Coordinate with L1/L2 teams and provide technical escalation support
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and audit compliance

? Technical Skills Required: ✅ Core Skills:

- Windows Server Administration (L3 level troubleshooting)
- VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter
- Active Directory Services
- PowerShell scripting (automation preferred)

✅ Secondary Skills:

- Backup tools (Veeam / Commvault / NetBackup)
- Monitoring tools (SolarWinds / SCOM / Nagios)
- Storage concepts (SAN/NAS)
- Networking basics (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS)
