Role Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Perl Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical components of our core platform. You will collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of our systems, ensuring our clients receive the best possible experience.Key Responsibilities :- Design and implement recent features and enhancements to our existing Perl-based applications, ensuring alignment with product requirements and architectural standards.- Maintain and improve the performance and stability of our Catalyst-based web applications, addressing bottlenecks and optimizing code for efficiency.- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software.- Participate in code reviews,



providing constructive feedback to other developers and ensuring adherence to coding best practices.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain system uptime.- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope and requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment.Required Skillset :- Demonstrated expertise in Perl programming, including advanced concepts and best practices.- Proven ability to develop and maintain web applications using the Catalyst framework.- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience with Moose.- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
