Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on GIS Analyst to strengthen our growing Esri ArcGIS practice at
Successive Digital. This role is critical for building internal GIS capability, supporting client projects, enabling PoCs, and working closely with engineering teams on geospatial solutions across domains like Agriculture, Utilities, Smart Cities, Supply Chain, Disaster Management, and Enterprise
Location Intelligence. The ideal candidate is someone who is technically strong in ArcGIS or similar tools, comfortable working with spatial data end-to-end, and eager to contribute to capability
building, accelerators, and pre-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spatial Data Analysis & Management
- Perform spatial data analysis, validation, cleaning, transformation, and enrichment.
- Work with vector and raster datasets (shapefiles, geodatabases, GeoJSON, imagery, DEMs, TIFFs, etc.).
- Maintain spatial data layers, schemas, metadata, and documentation.
- Ensure data accuracy, projections, coordinate systems, and performance optimization.
2. Esri ArcGIS Platform Expertise
- Hands-on experience with:
○ ArcGIS Online
○ ArcGIS Pro
○ ArcGIS Enterprise
○ ArcGIS Business Analyst
- Create and manage:
○ Web Maps, Web Apps, Dashboards, Experience Builder apps
○ Feature services, hosted layers, imagery layers
- Support publishing, sharing, security, and role-based access control in ArcGIS environments.
3. Geoprocessing & Automation
- Develop and customise geoprocessing tools and workflows.
- Work on:
○ Geocoding & reverse geocoding
○ Spatial joins, buffering, overlays, and network analysis
- Build and maintain ArcGIS Pro toolboxes, models (ModelBuilder), and scripts.
- Automate workflows using Python (ArcPy) where applicable.
4. DLPK & Model Integration
- Integrate and customise Deep Learning Packages (DLPKs) within ArcGIS workflows.
- Support existing DL models for:
○ Feature extraction
○ Object detection
○ Classification use cases
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams for model usage, validation, and improvements.
5. QGIS & Open GIS Tools
- Use QGIS for analysis, visualisation, and interoperability.
- Work with open GIS formats and ensure compatibility with Esri platforms when required.
6. Collaboration with Engineering & Product Teams
- Work closely with frontend (React/Angular) and backend teams to support GIS integrations.
- Assist in defining GIS data contracts, APIs, and workflows.
- Support developers with spatial logic, analysis requirements, and testing.
7. Capability Building & Pre-Sales Support
- Contribute to internal GIS accelerators, reusable assets, and PoCs.
- Support pre-sales activities:
○ Data preparation
○ Demo setup
○ Technical inputs for proposals and client discussions
- Help build domain-specific GIS use cases (Agri, Utilities, Smart Cities, etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in GIS / Spatial Analysis
- Strong expertise in the Esri ArcGIS ecosystem
- Experience with ArcGIS Online, Pro, and Enterprise
- Solid understanding of geoprocessing, geocoding, and spatial analysis
- Experience working with Python / ArcPy (basic to intermediate)
- Working knowledge of QGIS
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good to Have
- Experience with ArcGIS Business Analyst
- Exposure to Deep Learning in GIS (DLPKs)
- Understanding of GIS integration with web applications
- Domain exposure: Agriculture, Utilities, Urban Planning, Logistics, or Smart Cities
Certifications (Plus Point)
- Esri Technical Certification (Associate / Professional)
- Any GIS, Remote Sensing, or Spatial Analytics certifications
Soft Skills & Mindset

- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ownership mindset towards capability and practice building
