An Oracle Digital Banking Experience (OBDX) Level 2 (L2) Support Engineer is responsible for resolving complex functional and technical issues escalated from L1, ensuring the high availability and performance of banking applications. This role typically requires 25 years of experience in supporting Oracle products, with a focus on log analysis, SQL, and API troubleshooting, often involving production deployments and direct interaction with bank stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Incident Management & Troubleshooting:Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced L2 application support tickets related to production systems, web applications, and backend data processes. • Log Analysis & Investigation: Analyze system logs to determine root causes of issues, particularly in cases involving failed transactions or system errors. • Database & SQL Management: Perform ad-hoc reports, data analysis, and updates using complex SQL queries and PL/SQL to resolve production issues. • API & Interface Support: Troubleshoot issues related to SOAP/REST APIs, integrations with core banking systems (e.g., Finacle), and switching teams. • Release & Deployment: Assist with production release deployments,



new module implementation, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Escalation & Collaboration: Coordinate with L3 support teams, development teams, and clients for long-term resolution of critical (P1) issues, while maintaining high customer satisfaction. • Documentation: Create detailed root cause analysis (RCA) reports, update known error databases (KEDB), and document support procedures. Indeed +5 Required Technical Skills • OBDX Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Oracle Digital Banking Experience (OBDX) architecture and customization. • Database Expertise: Robust experience with Oracle DB, including writing and optimizing complex queries (SQL/PL/SQL). • Web/Application Servers: Experience with WebLogic or similar application servers used in production environments. • API Tools: Proficient in using Dev Tools, Postman, or Swagger for API testing. • Scripting: Basic understanding of shell scripting (Unix/Linux) for log manipulation. • Banking Domain: Knowledge of banking/fintech processes (e.g., Retail, Corporate Banking, Payments)
