Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirupati for a Social Studies Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lesson plans, teaching core concepts in Social Studies, including World History, and fostering critical thinking skills. Additional responsibilities include assessing students' progress, contributing to curriculum development, and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.



This is for a role in our flagship State Board school - Sri Venkateswara Children's High School - NEW GEN CAMPUS located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in teaching Social Studies with a strong understanding of World History
- Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create engaging and effective learning materials
- Experience in teaching Primary or Secondary School students with a focus on fostering critical thinking and active participation
- Robust communication and classroom management skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, History, or a related field
- Teaching certification or license relevant to the grade level and subject area
- Previous experience in an educational setting, especially in Social Studies, is preferred
- A passion for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their academic potential
