Role Description The Import Export Manager is a full time, in office role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing end-to-end import and export operations, including coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams. The Import Export Manager will handle day-to-day activities such as preparing and reviewing export and import documentation, tracking shipments,



ensuring timely customs clearance, and monitoring compliance with international trade regulations. The role includes maintaining accurate records, optimizing logistics costs, resolving shipment issues, and communicating proactively with clients and partners regarding cargo status. The Import Export Manager will also support process improvements, contribute to vendor and carrier negotiations, and provide operational reports to management.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Import Export operations and Export processes across various modes of transport.
Hands-on experience with Export Documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents.
Familiarity with International Trade practices, trade terms (Incoterms), and relevant customs and compliance regulations.
Effective Communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
