Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Printing Supervisor to join our Offset Printing & Packaging unit. The ideal candidate will supervise daily printing operations, manage production schedules, maintain print quality standards, reduce wastage, and ensure smooth coordination between departments for timely job completion and dispatch.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Supervision

- Supervise daily offset printing operations and manpower allocation.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines.
- Monitor machine productivity and performance.
- Coordinate job changeovers and production schedules.
- Plan printing jobs machine-wise based on delivery priorities.
- Ensure timely completion and dispatch of all jobs.

Process Improvement & Operations

- Improve printing processes and departmental efficiency.
- Reduce wastage, downtime, and production delays.
- Monitor department productivity and implement corrective actions.
- Handle urgent production challenges independently.

Quality Control

- Ensure print quality as per approved artworks and customer specifications.
- Monitor color consistency, registration, coating, and finishing quality.
- Minimize defects, wastage, and rejections.
- Conduct in-process quality checks during production.

Machine & Process Management

- Ensure proper machine setup before production.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitor proper usage of inks, plates, chemicals, and consumables.




- Maintain machine cleanliness and workplace discipline.

Team Management

- Supervise operators, helpers, and production staff.
- Train team members on SOPs, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Maintain shift discipline and attendance.
- Motivate teams to improve productivity.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain production, wastage, and shift handover reports.
- Coordinate with planning, QC, stores, and dispatch departments.
- Report breakdowns, delays, and production issues to management.
- Provide regular production updates to management.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and GMP/5S practices.
- Maintain safe handling of inks, solvents, and chemicals.
- Follow company SOPs and production procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Offset Printing & Packaging processes
- Understanding of color matching and print quality standards
- Experience handling Mitsubishi or similar offset printing machines
- Production planning and scheduling capability
- Leadership and manpower handling skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting
