Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Execution

· Plan daily fabrication activities (laser cutting, bending, welding).

· Allocate work to operators based on skill and machine availability.

· Ensure production targets and delivery timelines are met.

· Monitor WIP and ensure smooth workflow between processes.

2. Quality Control

· Ensure all parts are fabricated as per drawings and specifications.

· Conduct in-process inspections and final checks.

· Coordinate with the quality team to resolve defects and rework.

3. Team Management

· Supervise machine operators, welders, and helpers.

· Conduct daily toolbox meetings and assign tasks.

· Train team members on safety, 5S, and process improvements.

· Maintain discipline and teamwork on the shop floor.

4. Machine & Material Management

· Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns.

· Ensure availability of raw materials, consumables, and tools.





· Maintain proper records of material usage and scrap.

5. Safety & 5S Implementation

· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

· Drive 5S activities in the fabrication area.

6. Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain daily production reports.

· Track job work status and update ERP/system.

· Coordinate with purchase, design, and dispatch teams.

· Valuable knowledge of fabrication drawings and measuring instruments.

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Basic computer/ERP knowledge preferred.

Pay: ₹10,506.08 - ₹43,024.44 per month
