Job Summary

The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Production Engineering will support and monitor the complete production cycle of bespoke furniture and fixtures manufacturing involving wood and metal works. The role requires strong production engineering knowledge, advanced MS Excel skills, production data management, job tracking, and coordination with production, planning, store, dispatch, and execution teams to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery.

The candidate will be responsible for production data feeding, tracking job cards, monitoring production stages, maintaining production reports, and ensuring smooth workflow across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and track complete production activities from job release to final dispatch.
- Maintain and update production data, reports, and trackers using advanced MS Excel.
- Track Job Cards, production stages, machine loading, work progress, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with production departments including wood, metal, paint, upholstery, assembly, and finishing.
- Ensure timely movement of materials and jobs between production stages.
- Monitor production cycle time and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production status reports.
- Maintain production planning sheets, process records, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with store and purchase teams for material availability.
- Support production engineers and supervisors in process monitoring and workflow management.
- Ensure production data accuracy and timely system updates.
- Follow up with teams for pending jobs and priority production requirements.




- Assist in improving production efficiency, productivity, and process flow.
- Support dispatch planning and timely delivery coordination.
- Maintain documentation related to production, job cards, inspections, and completion status.
- Understand technical drawings, BOMs, and production requirements for execution.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of production engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, and data analysis.
- Good understanding of furniture manufacturing processes involving wood and metal works.
- Knowledge of production planning, job tracking, workflow monitoring, and production coordination.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, BOQs, BOMs, and production sequences.
- Good analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under production timelines and handle multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Strong communication and team coordination ability.
- Basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Qualification

- B.Tech / Diploma in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience

- Fresher to 2 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, modular furniture, metal fabrication, or interior fit-out production environment.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
