Job Description: Cloud Architect + DevOps Engineer

Experience: 8-10 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Architect + DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud platforms, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable cloud-native architectures, implementing DevOps best practices, optimizing cloud operations, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Participate as a Cloud Architect in multiple end-to-end project implementations.
- Define architecture for software, infrastructure, networking, and cloud components and establish relationships among system elements.
- Build and manage microservices-based applications using Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD, and Argo Workflows.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible/AWX.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and IT operations teams for seamless cloud integration and deployment.
- Improve cloud operations to enhance scalability, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, and Scouter.
- Analyze system performance and recommend architecture and cost optimization improvements.
- Ensure implementation of cloud security best practices, network security, and governance standards.
- Support enterprise architecture initiatives and cloud transformation programs.
- Guide and mentor developers and engineers on cloud and DevOps best practices.
- Work with ALM and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, GitHub,



and related platforms.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their adoption for enterprise environments.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash Shell Scripting or Python wherever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Cloud & Architecture

- 23 years of hands-on experience with public cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
- Solid understanding of Cloud Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Experience in cloud-native application architecture and enterprise cloud deployments.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable architectures.

DevOps & Automation

- Experience with CI/CD tools:
- Jenkins
- Tekton
- ArgoCD
- Argo Workflows

- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

- Terraform
- CloudFormation
- Ansible/AWX

- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and automation practices.

Containers & Microservices

- Experience with:
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Microservices Architecture (MSA)
- Open-source platforms and tools

Monitoring & Operations

- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools:
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- OpenSearch
- Scouter

- Experience in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and cost optimization.

Development & Scripting

- Basic understanding of Java application development.
- Good knowledge of:
- Bash Shell Scripting
- Python (preferred)

Collaboration & Tools

- Experience with:
- Jira
- Confluence
- GitHub

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to guide and train internal engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification in AWS/Azure/GCP is an added advantage.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of security best practices and cloud governance models.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
