Job Purpose To operate, monitor, and maintain production facilities, oil wells, well pads, and associated equipment at the Early Production System (EPS) in a safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant manner, ensuring uninterrupted production operations and adherence to operational and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor oil production facilities, well pads, separators, tanks, pumps, pipelines, and associated equipment.
- Carry out routine field operations including starting/stopping equipment and monitoring production parameters.
- Operate and monitor PLC/SCADA systems for production process control, equipment status monitoring, and reporting abnormalities.
- Monitor pressure, temperature, flow rates, tank levels, and other operational parameters and report abnormalities immediately.
- Perform chemical dosing activities as per operating procedures and monitor chemical consumption and injection systems.
- Monitor oil, gas, and water pipelines for pressure, flow, leakage, and operational integrity.
- Monitor and assist in operation of gas compressors and associated gas pipeline systems.
- Monitor Gas Engine Generators (GEG) and associated utility systems to ensure uninterrupted power generation and safe operation.
- Carry out tanker loading and unloading activities following approved safety and operational procedures.
- Perform regular inspection rounds at wells, well pads, process facilities, compressor areas, pipelines, and utility systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues under the guidance of the Shift-In-Charge.
- Maintain log sheets, production records, shift reports, tanker movement records, and operational checklists accurately.
- Ensure safe handling of hydrocarbons and adherence to operational procedures.




- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance, instrumentation, and HSE teams during shutdowns and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in emergency response drills and follow emergency procedures during incidents.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards at all operating areas.
- Report unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents, and equipment abnormalities promptly.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Instrumentation, Petroleum, or related discipline.

Experience

- 2-6 years of experience in oil & gas production operations, preferably in onshore production facilities, EPS, CPF, or well operations.
- Experience in handling oil field equipment, production systems, compressors, pipelines, and utility systems is preferred.
- Exposure to PLC/SCADA operations and tanker loading/unloading activities will be an added advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Basic understanding of oil & gas production operations.
- Knowledge of process equipment such as separators, pumps, tanks, valves, pipelines, and compressors.
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems and field instrumentation.
- Understanding of chemical dosing systems and utility operations.
- Familiarity with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and remote site conditions.
- Valuable observation, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
- Team-oriented with disciplined work practices.

Working Conditions

- Field-based role at remote oil field locations.
- Requires working in shifts, including night shifts.
- Exposure to outdoor weather and operational field conditions.
