Job Purpose:

The Project Sales professional is responsible to drive project-based sales in electrical, instrumentation, automation as turnkey bisis by identifying opportunities, managing key customer relationships, supporting techno-commercial proposals, and ensuring timely closure of orders. The role focuses on effective client coordination, pre-sales support, bid documentation, and commercial negotiations to achieve targeted revenue and sales objectives.

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

2. Client Relationship Management
3. Sales Presentations & Proposals

4. Key Account Handling
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
6. Customer Support & After-Sales

Preferred candidate profile:

1. 10 to12 yrs+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on project-based Organisations.
2. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
3. Experience in negotiating complex deals and handling high-value contracts.

4.Experience in working with consultants, EPC contractors and end customers.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

- Strong communication and presentation skills.




- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Results-driven with a solid sales acumen.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Customer-oriented, with a focus on building long-term relationships. • Proven ability to manage the full project sales cyclefrom lead generation to payment collection support
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, EPCs, and end-users
- Capable of handling both large-scale project bids and key account negotiations
- Proficiency in preparing technical-commercial offers, tenders, and quotations
- Sound understanding of pricing, margin management, payment terms, and credit control
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams such as technical, finance, and operations
- Willingness to mentor junior team members or coordinate with internal support teams
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project or client dynamics
